Long time, no speak. I know, I know, before I get the obligatory "[Series Name] WHEN!?!" comments, I will say that over these past few months we have been working on a lot of new things. But with doing all this work, it takes time and effort to get it done. Sadly, a lot of the staffers haven't had the time to provide a level of output we have seen in previous years. While we would love to make this our full-time job, this is a hobby project for pretty much everyone involved, so the output can and will change (for good or worse) as time passes.

Translated from the language of pasta and Anchovy et al as "The manga are beautiful", we plan to do just that with our upcoming Operation. Starting roughly the end of November and going all the way till the New Year, we plan on getting as many chapters released as possible. Webnovels and /ak/: The plan
Another update for you all!
As of this weekend, /ak/ scanlations will officially be dropping all the web novel-type series from our rotations. This means that within the next week or so, all of the series we deem not worth continuing will be removed from the wiki and links will be re-directed to this blog post.
For series such as The New Gate and From Maid to Mother, they will be gradually removed from the wiki at the leisure of our staff. For those fans who wish to keep reading more, worry not! In an agreement with Uxtef, he's moved all of his translating operations to his new website: uxteftl.wordpress.com. As for other operations, like typesetting and cleaning, we are still looking for ways to ease everyone into new locations as needed.

Wiki adoption
The wiki's founder (Patch-Kun) has been inactive for a long while (since around 2012), and I'd like to request to adopt the wiki in order to make a few changes related to layout and adding a few new features. For example, I'd like to import a few snippets from FANDOM's dev wiki to implement flag icons for the character pages, but can't make that change globally.
If anyone wants to object, or has any sugestion or feature request, please do so.

Changes: Both Good and Bad
As you all know, working with various files over the internet can be a messy business (see Clinton's emails). While this isn't a notice for a security breach or anything, this is going to be a change in the way we do our work around here. Because of a recent nuking of a few of our file hosting accounts on the grounds of copyright infringement (because of DMCA and all that good stuff), we will now only provide raws for all the projects we do via our private Slack group.
While this may look like a pain in the butt, it also provides us with an opportunity to really get together and work on projects as one unified group rather than various splintered factions. Working together as a single group should help with both the quality of the translatio…

What an interesting end to a year of ups and downs. We hope you all have at least the required minimally acceptable amount of fun for New Year’s Eve and Day.
To start off the New Year fresh, we’ll take a moment to look back at all that we have done. This list is not comprehensive, but should give us a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling about what was accomplished.
