A merry ak christmas

All of us wish you a great (if not a little late) holiday season!

What an interesting end to a year of ups and downs. We hope you all have at least the required minimally acceptable amount of fun for New Year’s Eve and Day.

To start off the New Year fresh, we’ll take a moment to look back at all that we have done. This list is not comprehensive, but should give us a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling about what was accomplished.

-We have gained many new people to help out with translating, cleaning, typesetting, and editing. The more people we have, the quicker we can get stuff done. Thanks to all that have joined our ranks!

-We have put out loads of content, some new and some well-established. We’ve picked up quite a few series that have generated loads of interest, with hopes of gaining more in the near future! To those who work (somewhat) silently, laboring to create new content: We all thank you and your efforts!

-We have brought about new friendships and camaraderie that could stand the test of time (or at least until Hiromoot nukes 4chan forever). External threats notwithstanding, working as friends and allies rather than as simple co-workers helps bring about better quality content. Cheers to new friendships in 2017!

-Operation “Kiss in a Snowless Winter” was a huge success, with nearly 13 different releases from the Classic-side of /ak/ scans alone. From Gate - Thus the JSDF fought there to Groundless, Ribbon Warrior, and Upotte, we have brought many new chapters for all to enjoy! Here’s to many more releases in the future, whether they be the classics or something new!

Even though the year is finally over, we are not finished yet! We have plenty of new series (and a revival of some long forgotten ones) in the works to bring to fans and staff alike! Stay tuned for more releases in the coming months, as 2017 is shaping up to be a great one!

If you are interested in helping us make content, contact us! We enjoy hearing about new series to do or requests to help out on already existing projects. Contacting us is easy, from sending a reply on one of the various /ak/ threads out there, to emailing us and joining our Slack group, there is many ways to do it! We are also in the works of doing other methods that can be more readily accessible to those who don't frequent those such places in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Comment below if you have ideas for future stuff for /ak/ scans to do operationally, but keep any series recommentations on it's page please!

Hope you all have a great New Year!
